LYNN STEPHEN
HONOURARY MEMBER
Lynn began dancing at an early age in Highland, Tap, and Irish. he was privileged to have excellent instruction from Betty Tait, Maureen Gardner, Marilyn Peabody, and Sam McConnell. Lynn and her family became M.H.D.A. members in 1957.
She remembers fondly the Friday competitions at St. Pats Hall. The night always ended with the 30 dancers playing together downstairs in the basement and the parents upstairs having their tea and scones. She values her Honourary Memberhip with the M.H.D.A.
Lynn began teaching 42 years ago and has enjoyed working with her students and supporting them in reaching their goals in dance and in life. She has also received her Life Membership with the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance.
